Just the FAQs

Please read the following policy/procedure changes effective for the 2009 playing season.

  1. Please keep in mind when registering your child for SAY soccer that although this is a recreational soccer program, it is still a commitment to be a part of a team. It is your responsibility to have your child at as many practices and games as possible 8211 the team is counting on every player.

  1. All registrations MUST be post marked by June 1 or they will automatically be placed on a waitlist. We will place as many of these children as possible by July 1st, but after that no more registrations will be accepted. We will add as many teams prior to July 1 as we can but will not add teams after that date.

  1. CYSA has a no refund policy.

  1. Only children with August and September birthdates may request to play up 1 division so they are with their grade peers. All requests to play up must be submitted in writing and attached to the copy of the registration form for board approval. Do not ask for exceptions to this 8211 they will not be granted.

  1. Do not make requests for specific practice days/times 8211 we CANNOT honor them. Inconvenient practice times is not an approved reason for a refund. Again, do not ask for an exception to this.

  1. Do not ask for a specific team, coach or friend. SAY dictates that all teams at the passer and above divisions be selected in a random manner. Only a head coach and sponsor OR a head coach and assistant coach may pair up before teams are blindly drawn.

Starting at Passers all the way to Minors, however, we cannot and will not honor requests beyond a single request for the sponsor and/or head coach 8211 that is, 1 request per team.
